What is albinism?
Albinism is a genetic disorder caused during birth. Those with albinism have a condition in which their bodies do not make enough pigment known has melanin. Melanin essentially gives colour to the skin, hair, and eyes. Albinism is not only a genetic disorder in humans, but also plants and animals. Most people with albinism are just as healthy as everyone else.
